The USS Spiegel Grove (LSD-32) Reunion Association is a non-profit organization devoted to reuniting all past crewmembers and embarked Marines dating back to her commissioning in 1956. Dues are $12.00 per year and help defray expenses incurred with setting up our annual reunions and miscellaneous newsletter mailing/printing costs.
Please note: the newsletter is distributed twice per year: the Spring edition goes to all members and the Late Summer edition (with the latest hot-skinny on the October reunion!) goes to dues paid members only. A complete roster is distributed to members upon request. All new members get one automatically.
The group currently consists of approximately 500+ shipmates ranging from former CO's, XO's, etc. to E-1's and E-2's, although rank has no place at our annual meetings. We also enjoy the company of some of our formerly embarked Marines! Generally we have from 30-40 attendees and their spouses, who comprise the USS Spiegel Grove (LSD-32) Women's Auxiliary.
